Nichole Kingham is a doctor of audiology and the owner of Hear Northwest, which operates eight clinics throughout Washington. She earned her master’s in audiology at the University of Washington and obtained her clinical doctorate from A.T. Still University. She was a James Jerger Future Leaders in Audiology honoree and is a past president of the Washington State Audiology Academy. She served as a board member and treasurer for the American Academy of Audiology from 2021 to 2024. In 2025, she was named a Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and received the Joel Wernick Award, an annual honor awarded by the Academy of Doctors of Audiology in recognition of an outstanding educational contribution within the profession of audiology or hearing science.
Since 2003, Dr. Kingham has worked in private practice, where she hired the first audiology assistant in Washington State and has trained and promoted audiology assistants since 2009. She currently serves on the Washington Department of Health Speech and Hearing Board and teaches practice development and business acumen courses to third-year Au.D. students at Western Washington University. She is also the Chief Education Officer of Audiology Academy, an online training resource dedicated to delivering business tools and training to support sustainable, profitable private practices that deliver high patient satisfaction.
When not at work, Dr. Kingham enjoys spending time with her husband, eight children and two grandbabies. She also uses her free time to travel to lecture large groups of other audiologists on topics such as patient satisfaction, technology updates and staff training.
