Dr. Evan Grolley is the founding audiologist of the practice now known as Olympic Hearing & Balance. Alongside Dr. Natalie Souza, he established Link Audiology in 2015 with a shared vision of expanding access to comprehensive hearing healthcare throughout underserved communities in Western Washington.
After attending graduate school together, Dr. Grolley and Dr. Souza recognized significant gaps in audiology services within Kitsap County, particularly in pediatric hearing care, auditory processing evaluations and newborn hearing screenings. Motivated by a desire to serve a broader population than the workers’ compensation-focused services prevalent in the region, they built a practice focused on comprehensive, patient-centered hearing healthcare for individuals of all ages.
Under Dr. Grolley’s leadership, the practice expanded beyond its original scope to offer advanced hearing solutions, including hearing aids, bone-anchored hearing devices and cochlear implants. His commitment to increasing access to quality hearing care also helped drive the opening of the practice’s Vashon Island and University Place locations, bringing specialized audiology services to other communities.
As the organization continued to expand, its mission remained rooted in serving communities with limited access to hearing healthcare. This vision ultimately laid the foundation for continued growth across Western Washington and the evolution of the practice into what is now Olympic Hearing & Balance.
Throughout his career, Dr. Grolley has been known for his expertise in audiometric testing, diagnostic evaluations, hearing technology and patient-centered treatment planning. His dedication to clinical excellence and community service has positively impacted countless patients and families. As audiologist emeritus, Dr. Grolley’s legacy continues through the values he helped establish—compassionate care, clinical excellence, innovation and a commitment to improving the lives of people with hearing and balance disorders throughout the region.
